From April to December 2008, the Chamber brought in 16 percent more new memberships than in the same period the previous year. Dues-based revenue was up 3 percent from the prior year, and advertising revenue was up 41 percent. Overall combined advertising and membership revenue was up 15 percent. For the calendar year, new memberships were up 10 percent over 2007, advertising revenue was up a stunning 96 percent and combined revenue was up a stellar 28 percent.
